Chapter Two

Brady's Pub
Bo and Hope we're just finshing up their lunch when the door opened. Joh Black walked in and came over.

"John, hello. How are you?" Bo asked.

"I'm alright. I got a letter from Brady today. He say's he might be coming home soon." John said.

"John, please sit down." Hope said patting the seat next to her.

John sat down and looked at Bo. "Are you alright Bo?"

"Yeah, I'm just getting this very strong, odd feeling the past few days. I'm not sure what it is though." Bo stood up, "I'm going to the kitchen. I'll be back."

When Bo left, Hope tapped John on the shoulder. "I need your help."

"With what?" He asked a bit puzzled.

"I want to open a sailing shop on the waterfront but, I want to get all the figures and everything ready before even letting Bo know." She told him.

"Why would you want to do that? I mean wait to tell him."

She sighed, "Because I think that waiting to tell him will get his mind off things. Let him think I'm hiding something if it will keep him from getting out of bed every night and staring at a picture of Shawn-D."

"He's getting worse?" John asked.

"The past few nights. That's what the feeling is. He can swear that Shawn-D is around."

John shook his head and looked back towards the kitchen. "So let him think your up to something, which you are?"

"Yes, besides this way he'll also know I'm serious about opening this shop."

Kiriakis Mansion
Chloe walked into the living room. There was no site of Philip around. She sighed and sunk down on the couch. Lucas walked in and smiled.

"Evening Chloe, how are you today?"

"I'm fine." She said deperessingly. "Just another day of the same thing."

Lucas turned to look at her. "In a rut I take it?"

"Yeah, but it won't last long." She said standing up. "Atleast not after tonight."

"Why? what happens tonight?" Lucas asked.

"Nope, Philip finds out before the rest of the family." She said with a small smile.

Lucas nodded, "I understand. I'm sure Philip will be happy."

"I hope so to."

"He loves you Chloe, more then you could ever imagine. You two have made it through some of the hardest times. It's obvious how much you love each other."

Chloe smiled, "Are you sure your not talking about yourself and Sami?"

Lucas chuckled, "Well us to. However I was thinking of you and my rascal of a brother."

"Austin's here?" Came Philip's voice from the door way.

"Philip!" Chloe exclaimed as she went over to him and took his hands in hers. "I am so glad your home."

Philip looked at his wife. "What am I missing?"

"I'll tell you in a little while. Come with me." She said as she started to pull him to the stairs to go upstairs.

Starlight Cafe
Mike and Craig looked down at the papers in front of them. Mike shook his head and looked up.

"I can't keep my mind on this. Jenkins is after something and I don't know what." Mike said frustraited.

"I know, though it's not like it's just one thing. More like it's several things." Craig said, "Yet it's hard to know what. It's as though he's after whatever from both of us."

"We don't have anything he could want, well except your job, and my wife." Mike said as he shook his head. "No way, he's not going about it the tactful way."

"Maybe that's why he's going about it that way. To throw us off."

"Craig, that's just to insane."

"I know, however it's the only thing that makes any sense at all."

"Maybe, I just don't but it."

Salem Inn
Carrie walked down the hallway towards a room. She knocked twice and then went in. "Hi." She said softly as she closed the door and locked it.

"Nice to know you got away."

"Well, not much work and the kids decided to play with friends." She said walking over to the bed, and slowly removing her clothes.

She moved to kick the pile she created to the side and walked towards the man. "Have I told you how alive you make me feel David?"

"Not lately."
